Today is September 13. There are 19 days to lift off. Naturally, we are scrambling to get ready to travel without forgetting anything.. Today, for example, we bought currency, so as to have some cash when we land.

While my Australia dialysis dates and times are locked in, I am still waiting for New Zealand to seal the deal. It is hard to plan a daily schedule when a 3.5 hour block has yet to be set. Soon I guess. That’s why I began planning early enough to allow for delays.

I may not post much before the trip actually starts, unless something momentous happens.Ill be happy to have a boring, but predictable countdown.

UPDATE: 9/18

I’ve finally gotten the full schedule of treatments from both Sydney and Auckland. I can now finish scheduling the good stuff. My last treatment is on the day we fly back home. It will be hectic, but at least I’ll rest for three and a half hours before heading to the airport.
